Today I want to show you my first customized skirt that was made for me by Tinker Tailor , the world’s first digital destination for the creation and customization of luxury fashion.  Please head down to the end of the this post, and allow me to tell you more about them!

Because this is such a statement big skirt, I want to keep everything else I wear with it simple — high ponytail, sleek pumps, and a form-fitting bodysuit. A back to 50’s style, you might call it.

Back in September, I was in New York for the NYFW, and I had the opportunity to visit the Tinker Tailor team in their office in New York, and had a lovely chat with Aslaug Magnusdottir, the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of this company.  If you don’t know her by the name, she brought the designer trunk show online when she co-founded Moda Operandi, a site where shoppers order fashion straight off the runway, before it has even been produced!  Now, she has a clever idea to create a retail site for providing customized tailoring service in the luxury fashion world.

Tada!  Just a couple weeks ago, I received my first customized skirt.  I really like it, because it’s very unique and very Me!  Big thanks to the Tinker Tailor team to help me design it, and then make it for  me!
