How to Feel Young & Look Younger

I remember one time I was in a hotel elevator, when I saw a senior man wearing a fun hat (like Cat in The Hat), so I told him that I liked his hat.

Then the next day I saw him again, and he was wearing another funny hat, so again I told him, “I like your hat.”

Then we started to talk, and I found out he was a school teacher, and he told me he loves kids. “That’s what keeps you young and looking happy.” I said.

“Or makes you old,” he laughed and replied.  We both laughed; we both were talking about the same thing, but with different meanings.

That gave me the idea that “feeling young” actually depends on each of ourselves; it depends on how we feel about ourself.

For me, I like to be with kids, too, and I feel “young” when I am with them.  Red Bear sometimes says I embarrass him when I talk to other kids using my “kiddo” voice, and I act like a little girl . Oh, well, Red Bear doesn’t like it when I am feeling too young, I guess.  But I feel good when I feel a “little girl” inside me!
