I like an oversized coat for winter; the feeling when wrapped up in a warm coat on a chilly day feels super satisfying and comfortable. I get that wearing a sweat suit and sneakers with an oversized coat is the best combo to stay cozy and warm. Being a petite lady myself, I feel that combo would bury me inside a bunch of oversized / loose items.
To stay chic when wearing an oversized coat, here are a few tips I would like to share.
1.Keep the bottom slim fitting, like these skinny jeans I am wearing today. I think the skinny bottom helps to balance the look. And if you want to dressed up, a long knit dress or pencil skirt with knee high heeled boots are also good choice.
2.Heels always look better than flats or sneakers when I wear an oversized coat. But I always keep a pair of flats in my bag, just in case I have to walk for a long distance.
3.Roll up the coat sleeves, (like I did in this post); to me, the proportions look better in the way.
