This weekend we are not only celebrating warmer weather, but my son’s birthday — this year he is not able to be with his friends on his birthday, but we had a mini family celebration in the pool. And thanks so much to FUNBOY for sending out these pool floats to us, they are so fun! We’ll get plenty of use out of them. FUNBOY will also be donating 20% of all profits to FEEDING AMERICA in order to support food banks feeding those suffering during COVID-19.
And the most important thing, we give thanks to the fallen heroes of our military on this Memorial Day weekend. Red Bear is going to join many Scouts across Los Angeles this afternoon, and via Zoom meeting, they are going to salute the flag and each say the name of a fallen hero they know. Normally, Red Bear along with thousands of Scouts, would place flags on the veterans’ graves, as he has done since he was 6. Hopefully next year they can continue that tradition.

I must add my endorsement to these Funboy pool inflatables: they seem very sturdy, made from a heavier gauge vinyl than other inflatables we have bought in the past. I predict they will serve us for several years, with reasonable care. And we’re having a lot of fun with them.
