I like to score my wish items at the end of the sale season, and most of my designer items are bought at some incredible sale prices, and I am very happy with that!
Many people ask me how to score these good deals, and I am sharing some of my tips today:

  1. Know the name of your wish item. For example, this year, I set my designer name on “Max Mara coat” and “Manolo Blahnik mule”, so when I searched the online sale section of each store that sells the brand, I used those filters to do my search.  It saved me a lot of time, and you know most of time when you score the last good deal for a piece, timing is pretty important!
  2. Check online often. If some of your wish items are on sale but have run out of your size, come back and check again on the same site when you have time.  Some of them might fill out with new sizes . . . and you win.

3.Don’t hesitate when placing your order.  Normally the good deal popular items sell out very fast, so if you see something you have been wanting for a while, and it isn’t marked, “This item is on final sale and not returnable,” place the order right away. You normally will have a minimum 15 days return window to think about if you want to keep it or not.  Do not remove all the labels and do not wear them, though, while you decide whether to keep them.

4. Try to look for the styles that can go for a couple seasons or more. In general, when hunting for sale items, we are still looking mostly for classic and timeless items. The very hot and unique and popular designs might be good for a while, but then the style will fade and get replaced when the next season hits, and you don’t want to regret buying them or not wearing them anymore.
