“The cherry blossoms are in full bloom in our park now,” my husband told me the other day.

Naturally, I said, “Let’s go and take some pictures there!”

The pictures actually came out so pretty, and looking at all the beautiful cherry trees blossoming around the lake in the park, it was such a joyful thing to do.

The funny part, though, I used to admire other street-style bloggers’ photos, with all the clean street themes, big buildings and fancy architecture, or even just a simple urban environment, so I always tended to avoid trees, flowers, park, and grass when taking my outfit photos . . . and there are a lot of such places all around L.A.!

But lately, since “spring has just sprung,” and after record amounts of rain around here this season, we have incredible amounts of flowers starting to bloom, including fields of wildflowers here and there, so we just can’t avoid grass, trees, flowers, and such anymore. Now, instead of trying to avoid all the greenery, I have opened my mind and just enjoy what we have, and show you the best part of L.A., not just tall buildings, not all the colorful and interesting architecture, but also some of the beautiful nature.
