{What I Wore: Zara Top (from last year) // J.Crew Maxi Skirt (I switched a Carolina Herrera Belt) //
Zara Polka Dot scarf as headband (similar here) // Celine Sunglasses // Motyant Bag }
It’s true I have many trendy and dramatic items in my closet, but I also keep, and keep looking for, some good essential items — which I can wear anywhere and everywhere: grocery store, to my son’s school, and for a dinner night out, too! Like this long sleeve tee I am wearing today; it’s very basic, but when paired with this skirt, it keeps the “drama” level in the right place. I also wore this same top last year, for a country getaway. It’s a relaxed fit, and looks very casual. I also bought this ribbed top yesterday — it will be a good essential piece that can be worn to dress up or down.
