What’s Inside My (Make Up) Bag

Happy Weekend, Darlings!

We are packing for our family Thanksgiving vacation to Florida on Monday, and while I am packing my make-up bag, I would like to share what’s in my make-up bag with you today.

I am not a make-up artist, and I am never too proud of how I apply my make-up. But I do my best, get a little better over time, and get the job done. In general, my make-up rules are quick, natural, and make my Asian “single eye-lid” eyes look bigger, and make my naturally full lips look fuller. What are your make-up rules? Btw…

Sharing some of my favorite make-up products today, I hope you find them helpful!

SKININC

Pure Serum-Mist

I like to keep this in my make-up bag, to use when I need it. I feel it quickly giveS my skin a soft and hydrated look.

HOURGLASS

Brow Sculpting Pencil

Winner of Allure’s 2019 Best of Beauty Awards for Brow Pencil.  And it’s also my favorite eyebrow pencil so far.

DERMABLEND

Poresaver Matte Makeup Primer

I like this primer because it makes my skin look soft, while it absorbs oil without drying my skin — and it also minimizes pores!

ILIA True Skirt serum Foundation

If you love full-coverage foundations, this is not good for you. But it’s kind of perfect for me; the medium-coverage tinted moisturizer leaves my skin looking silky smooth and hydrated — I like it that it looks so natural!

ESSENCE

False Lash Effect Mascara

I bought this mascara after reading all the reviews from Amazon, and I love the “false lash effect” result! 🙂

LANEIGE

Lip Sleeping Mask

I am a long time lover of this lip sleeping mask, and I’m still loving it.

Saie Eyelashes Curler

The Saie brand sent this for me to try, and I loved it from the moment I tried it.  It’s thin and light, compared with my other eyelash curler, and gives a better result.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner

I have used many other eye liners, and decided to go back to this one. The thin, marker-like tip is easy to use, easy to apply, and doesn’t smudge — I have hooded eyes, so this matters to me a lot!

CLE Essence Air Cushion (With Broad Spectrum SPF50)

CLE Essence Air Cushion is foundation-in-a-cushion delivering sheer to moderate coverage while creating a beautiful sheen on the skin with a luminous finish. I really like the SPF 50 together with radiant glow, too!

ILLA Color Haze Multi-Matte Pigment

It’s my go-to, everyday, everywhere lip and cheeks pigment.  It looks very natural and fresh.

LANCOME L’absolu Rouge 01, Bad Blood Ruby

I always like a good shade of red, and I love this one, not only for the color, but it also soothes and softens my lips, helps my lips appear more radiant.

L’Oreal Magic Root Cover Up

I like it when I can wait a little longer to dye my hair, and this lets me do that — and it’s ammonia and peroxide free.

I’m sharing here this last picture that I took when I visited Doha, Qatar, a few weeks ago. Two gorgeous Ferragamo bags sat on my huge balcony, as I gazed at this beautiful Doha view. Now, as I share this scene, I will be temporarily off the blog for a week, as we are going to spend our Thanksgiving week in another sunny state — Florida!

I will post pictures in my Instagram daily, so make sure to follow me there!

Happy Thanksgiving, Darlings!
