Couple days ago I read an article by Garance about how to shop at Zara, that is really a great article to read about if you are a Zara fan like me. I remember I have some of you asked me the same question: everytime you go there you can’t find anything? As mentioned by Garance in that article, going often and being selective are the keys, and of course, knowing what you want and what fits you best in the store are more things to think about.
I have had some problem in shopping the trousers or skinny jeans in Zara. The size 2 fits me a little bit tight, and the size 4 is way too loose in the waist area, that might because of my body type, I have narrow waist and strong thighs. So I like to try on their straight or boyfriend jeans, although some boyfriend jeans are still too loose in size 2 on me after couple times wearing them, like this one and this one. How loose they are? Put it this way, I don’t need to take off the button and zip when I go to bathroom. 🙂
And I don’t remember if I ever owned a thick Zara coat, maybe 1 or 2? Not that I am not 100% happy with the quality, but in L.A. seriously, we don’t wear coats that often. I do own a lot of jacket/blazers from Zara, though. They are really good in many ways, and I am very happy with them.
And shoes, yes, I like to pick up those walkable shoes from them.For everyday-wear shoes, they really satisfy me in 3 ways, 1. not cost too much money, 2. comfortable to walk, 3. trendy and stylish. Like the leopard booties I wear today. 🙂

說起購物，我這2個月已經買了它家7雙鞋子了。
就如妳說的，價格ok、造型時尚：)
所以不知不覺就買了那麼多 ^^
不過買次買鞋，困擾我的是賣場裡都沒有可以坐著試鞋的地方。導致我如果要試鞋，必須蹲著或是坐在地面上。有時蹲著試穿高跟鞋還會跌倒。而且要是穿裙試鞋更是不方便…
妳們那有沒有這種困擾呢？

最爱ZARA的西装，小外套和鞋子。从02年到西班牙留学起，看着ZARA一天天壮大。虽然这两年的质量确实不如以往，ZARA仍然是我最爱的髙街品牌之一。关于牛仔裤我和你有一样的体验。可能是我们亚洲人的体型原因？每次就算是买的时候刚合适，穿了几次后也会越来越大。
我都是把鞋子拿到试衣间里试的。我这里的ZARA试衣间里都有凳子的。

Love the whole look! I was hesitating to get those booties:) Should I or should I not – that’s what I asked myself as I didn’t go to Zara for a pair of leopard booties:) Your advice (or Garance’s) sounds helpful, though. Must try that strategy!

i went to Zara yesterday and i came out with a great pair of jeans and a cool tee with skull print. I used to leave Zara with dissapointed face, but i have learned to shop wisely i think 🙂
貌似ZARA更适合欧美人高挑的身材，喜欢他家衬衣或毛衣、夹克，裙子就免了，全是低胸的不适合中国国情，呵呵！
