Winter Essentials: Coat, Turtleneck & Boots

When in Winter Style, I honest don’t know how to define. Most of the time when I wear a coat in L.A.– it’s really just for the look. Hahahhh…..

And, of course, we do have some cold weather, 2 or 3 days. And, believe or not, I am that kind of person that really hates cold weather and really needs to wear WARM.

So my winter essentials?

1. Warm Coat. I feel when choosing a winter coat, the armpit & sleeve area have to be wide and big enough, and will always need to leave a room for a sweater or many layers. The one I am wearing today is BY MALENE BIRGER . See my other favorite winter coat picks below:

2. Turtleneck shirt or sweater. I don’t really like big scarves for winter, mostly because of my long hair. I don’t want them to give me any static-electric shock (it happens!) or get soaked in the sink when I wash my hands. I like a good sweater that is not too tight around the neck, its easy to make it stand up when the cool weather hits, and easy to fold down when needed.

3. Thick pants or thick denims. I don’t like to wear skinny jeans in other seasons besides winter. I feel they make it hard to let the skin breath — but for winter time, so warm!

4. Boots (high boots & booties with thick socks). You can see my other winter boot looks here & here, and booties looks here & here. Those boots I am wearing today is Wandler. Also see my other favorite boot picks below:
