Winter Styles That Look Good for Every Body Type

Winter in L.A. doesn’t really match the traditional definition of “Winter,” if you think of snow and cold in Winter.

I had people ask me, “Were you too warm?” one day when I was wearing a heavy coat and multi-layers during a photoshoot when it was sunny and 70+F weather.

The honest answer is: Yes and No.

On a warm day like that, I wear the coat just for the photoshoot, maybe even sweating under it, but so I can show the “Winter style,” and hopefully, give you some style inspiration.

But today is different — I caught a cold, and all I want to wear is a “cover up” and “keep me warm” style!

This Alice + Olivia over-sized striped faux fur coat can also be worn with your favorite mini dress (like this one and this one) for a Holiday party look, and today I chose to pair it with a pair of cropped jeans.  I like a short jeans + high ankle boots combination for Winter; it makes me look a little taller, and I just need to throw on my favorite coat/blazer, and I am good to go.
